USB 3.0 device keeps disconnecting/connecting  .. New Thread

OK. we can all go search and find this same topic on another thread. Thing is, there is no working answer as to how to fix it.  I have found steps to fix that don't work.  I don't know what OS they are using, but I don't have an OEM specific device.

So Please, if you don't have an answer, don't respond.

Mine shows USB DISK 3.0 USB Device.  And it is supposedly the latest and greatest.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  Windows says I have the latest driver.  Or am I just dumb in believing them.

Some say the next update will have a fix (a year ago).  Well, that obviously was not correct. Yes, I installed all the updates.  Last update was just a few days ago.  It checks daily.

SO, I have two USB 3.0 devices from different manufacturers.  Both will disconnect/reconnect as long as they are plugged in.  Currently this happens about every sixty seconds.  Sometimes longer, sometimes less.  Only took 10 seconds just now.

The point is, these devices are pretty much rendered useless.  And when it disconnects, it shuts down file explorer.

So, MICROSOFT, how abut giving us a little exe or script to run and fix whatever the heck needs to occur.  Yes, I see people have put out steps.  They don't work.  In fact I cant even follow those steps because they ask you to pull up some tab that doesn't exist and get information.

Better yet, gives us a USB 3.0 device to install that works.

Yes,  this is a big deal.

it depend on your PC spec, some of PC only have USB 2.0 which is less power than USB 3.0. USB 2.0 power usage Up to 500 mA, USB 3.0 Up to 900 mA, less power maybe can caused disconnected behavior like this

this issue also maybe can be caused of broken USB port. try with different port

I understand your frustration, but sentence "So Please, if you don't have an answer, don't respond" is offend other user

good luck
